Trailblazer™ Wireless Tags can be worn by people or attached to equipment or assets, enabling their location to be identified at all times. Our tags operate on the Wireless IEEE 802.15.4 standard which offers greater flexibility and reliability when compared with tags using the more common Wi-Fi (802.11) standard.

Our tags are:

• Offer long battery life of up to 12 months, depending upon the frequency set for sending reports

• Built to work on the Wireless IEEE 802.15.4 standard, which means installation is fast and simple
• Set-up to run independently to your existing network, meaning there is no disruption to your existing operations nor reduction to your available wireless bandwidth as would occur with a Wi-Fi (802.11) locating solution.

Trailblazer™ Wireless Tags can be configured to transmit a signal as often as you need, which is conveyed to you via a user-friendly web interface.  Our Trailblazer™ Wireless locating solution is a Real Time Locating System (RTLS), and identifies the whereabouts of people or assets carrying the tracking device in real time. 

Alarm, light and motion sensors

Our locating tags feature an alarm button, and light and motion sensors. When worn by people, the alarm button can be triggered if help is required, so you can mobilise assistance. When attached to assets or equipment, the motion and light sensors on the locating tag trigger an alert if the asset or equipment are moved without authorisation, if the tag is tampered with, or if they are moved beyond geo-fences you have established. This assists with preventing theft of or damage to the assets or equipment.

Know the location of the people in your care

Trailblazer™ Wireless Tags can be carried by people (for example, staff members, students, patients, residents of aged care services) whose location can then be identified instantly. The tags contain an alarm feature which can be triggered by them if they need assistance (for example, in the case of anaphylaxis or asthma attacks or other types of medical emergencies, or in the case of bullying in a school context).

A dependable locating device for equipment and valuable assets

Trailblazer™ Wireless Tags can be fitted to equipment, high value stock or other assets. This enables you to identify their whereabouts and because they contain a motion and light sensor, you will receive an alert if they are moved beyond an approved zone (or into a restricted zone) or if their tag is tampered with. Having this information makes it easier to manage with greater efficiency and to safeguard against theft.

Trailblazer™ Wireless Tags can also help make sure that you always have important equipment on hand. Where it is essential that certain equipment is always available (for example in an emergency hospital ward, or on board an ambulance or fire truck before it leaves the depot), your system can be set up to alert you if the equipment is not there.
