Wireless locating solutions
Wireless locating is suitable for use indoors and to a limited extent, outdoors. The Trailblazer™ Wireless locating solution is configured on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard and offers extended range within indoor networks and limited range externally. Wireless locating is therefore suited for use in situations such as hospitals and health care facilities, aged care facilities, office buildings, distributions centres and warehouses, airports, museums, art galleries and more.
People, equipment or assets can be equipped with a locating tag, and their whereabouts can instantly be determined. Location data is relayed via routers to your computer in easy-to-use text or map-based reports.
We offer two types of locating tags - both of which contain an inbuilt alarm. These are our locatable Pager, and multipurpose locating tag.
For your personnel, our Trailblazer™ locatable Pagers enable two-way communication from a menu of text choices.
Our locating tags feature an alarm button, and light and motion sensors. When worn by people, the alarm button can be triggered if help is required, so you can mobilise assistance. When attached to assets or equipment, the motion and light sensors on the locating tag trigger an alert if the asset or equipment are moved without authorisation, if the tag is tampered with, or if they are moved beyond geo-fences you have established. This assists with preventing theft and damage to the assets or equipment.
GPS tracking solutions
Our Trailblazer™ GPS tracking identifies the location of people or assets via satellite (Global Positioning Systems) technology. Satellite technology is used to identify the location of the tracking device, and GPRS/GSM networks transmit the data to a designated server. GPS tracking systems are therefore suited to outdoor tracking where there is clear access to satellites.
Our GPS solution is designed for three types of settings:
- ASSETS: Trailblazer™ Asset trackers (for tracking valuable resources such as containers and heavy equipment),
- VEHICLES: Trailblazer™ In-vehicle trackers (for tracking information about your fleet of vehicles), and
- PEOPLE: Trailblazer™ GPS integrated into a compatible mobile phone, and Trailblazer™ Personal Tracker (for identifying the location of your personnel in the field).
Trailblazer™ GPS tracking can be implemented into your organisation via our GPS Tracking - Hosted Solution or our GPS Tracking - Enterprise Solution. Our GPS Hosted Solution allows you to log on to our website and begin accessing data regarding the location of your people or assets. You simply purchase our Trailblazer™ tracking devices for the people, vehicles or assets you wish to track, and pay a monthly fee which gives you access to our GPS tracking system and reporting function.
With our GPS Enterprise Solution (suitable for organisations with 100 or more people or assets to track), you purchase the hardware and software, and retain all data within your organisation.
